The service

PouchFiles provides free file tools that run in your browser. No account is required. The tools process your files on your device; we do not receive, store or have access to them.

Your files and your responsibility

You remain the owner of your files and of the results. You are responsible for having the right to process the files you open, and for using the tools lawfully.

Because your files never reach us, we cannot recover a file or a result for you. Keep a copy of your originals.

Check the results

Review every output before you rely on it, in particular redacted PDFs before you share them. The tools are provided to help you, not to replace your own verification.

No warranty

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suited to a particular purpose.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from the use of the site, including data loss or incorrect results.

Open-source components

The site uses open-source software, each under its own licence. The background remover relies on @imgly/background-removal, licensed under AGPL-3.0.

Acceptable use

Do not use the site to break the law, to infringe the rights of others, or to disrupt or overload the service.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms.
